Vår historie/Our history

Mauds Manufaktur AS er et norskt engros og distribusjon-firma som hovedsaklig retter seg mot garn, gave og hobby-butikker. Mauds ble stiftet i desember 2019 og har kontor og lager i Oslo sentrum. Gründer/partner er BERIT VEISET (t.v) som også er gründeren bak den populære garnbutikken FRU KVIST i Oslo. Daglig leder/partner Elisabeth Lund-Andersen er tidligere kollega av Berit gjennom ukeblad- og magasinbransjen. Begge har gjennom hele sitt yrkesliv jobbet med skaperglade og engasjerte kvinner som målgruppe og kjenner garnbutikkenes kundegruppe svært godt.

Vi som jobber i Mauds Manufaktur brenner for økt glede ved håndarbeid. Vår ambisjon er bidra til å bevare, og helst øke, antallet fysiske håndarbeidsbutikker i Norge og Skandinavia. Det skal vi gjøre ved å tilby populære kvalitetsvarer, som du som forhandler skal tjene godt på. Vi kan ikke love at vi alltid greier å nå våre mål, men så langt det er forsvarlig vil vi søke å gi våre kunder markedets beste marginer på det som er Mauds egenproduserte varer. Mauds-utvalget består av nyttige og vakre redskaper og gadgets som kan inspirere strikkere og håndarbeidsglade i alle aldre. Vi er i tillegg stolt offisiell forhandler av ChiaoGoo (verdens beste strikkepinner fra USA) og Cohana (håndarbeidsverktøy fra Japan) i tillegg til en fruktbart og svært meningsfylt samarbeid med anerkjente Woven i Nepal (vakre håndvevde produkter/Fair Trade).

Mauds Manufaktur AS is a Norwegian wholesale and distribution company which mainly targets yarn, gift and hobby shops. Mauds was founded in December 2019 and has an office and warehouse in central Oslo. Founder/partner BERIT VEISET is also the founder of the popular yarn shop FRU KVIST in Oslo. The general manager/partner Elisabeth Lund-Andersen is a former colleague of Berit through the weekly magazine and magazine business. Both have throughout their professional lives worked with creative and committed women as a target group.

We who work at Mauds Manufaktur are passionate about increased joy in needlework. Our ambition is to help preserve, and preferably increase, the number of physical needlework shops in the nordic countries. We will do this by offering popular quality goods, which you as a retailer will make a good profit from. We cannot promise that we will always manage to achieve our goals, but as far as it is justifiable, we will seek to give our customers the best margins on the market on what are Maud’s self-produced goods. Our Mauds-collection will be beautifull practical tools and gadgets that can inspire knitters and needlework enthusiasts of all ages.

We are also the proud official dealer of ChiaoGoo (the world’s best knitting needles from the USA) and Cohana (high quality handicraft tools from Japan) in addition to a fruitful and very meaningful collaboration with renowned Woven in Nepal (beautiful handwoven bags/Fair Trade)
